Great but be careful!Jul 19, 2010 My 7 year-old really loves this book. It is very cool. Only problem is that like any pop-up book the pages have to fold "just so" to close and it's easy to bend or tear them trying to make them fold properly.
Fun book!Jul 10, 2010 I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present when it first came out, and when we moved it was put into a box with other collectible/display items and stuck into a closet for another day. Doing some Spring cleaning today with my now four-year-old Star Wars-loving son, we came upon it and couldn't resist sitting down for a read. It was so much fun to see his face and hear his exclamations on every single page. When we got to the last page, where you can glimpse Anakin's burned face behind the Darth Vader helmet, I thought we'd hit the pinnacle of enjoyment for my son... and then I popped open the smaller pages to either side of the helmet and Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker emerged holding light-up lightsabers. He slowly reached out a finger to touch one, as if he couldn't believe his eyes. It was a really great moment. I know we will be re-reading this special book for years. It is full of beautiful detail and hidden surprises, and if you treat it gently (as you should any pop-up book... most of the ones we own that are actually aimed at small children are torn apart) it will last for a long time.
Great buy for Star Wars FansJul 05, 2010 This book was in excellent condition and my grandson loved it, since he is a major Star Wars fan. The pop-ups are fantastic.
A Must for Star Wars fansFeb 12, 2010 This is such a great pop-up book. The detail is impressive and there are even real glowing light sabers that pop out of one page. I think it would be a great gift for older children who are into Star Wars. Like any pop-up book you really have to be careful about opening the pages and closing them carefully. It's really easy to hyper-extend the pages or close them too quickly causing part of the construction to catch. I think this book is a great value and a unique item for a Star wars fan.
Star Wars PopsFeb 10, 2010 The book was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. The child who received the book loves it.
